Round Shadow Box Nativity Scroll Saw Pattern.

Six 1/4" thick layers make up this small desktop Nativity shadow box. This small Nativity scene is only 5 1/2" wide. It is just the right size to sit on a desk or side table. I also included the pattern for a larger version that is nearly nine inches wide.

This is not a very challenging pattern to cut so if you are new to the scroll saw don't be put off. There are not that many interior cuts. The biggest challenge for a new scroller is getting the outer circle round. I recommend that you use a disk sander to flush up the outside of the shadow box anyway so a few mistakes will be easily taken care of.

After you get all the layers glued up then use a disk sander to eliminate all the mismatched edges.

I just wanted to get a few Christmas patterns out for those who like to get started early. I'll try to do at least one a week for a while.
