Basket of Roses Scroll Saw Pattern.

Download Below

This basket of roses is over ten inches tall. As you can see, there are a large number of interior cuts in this pattern. Some of them are small but they can all be drilled with a 1/16" drill bit.

This is one of those patterns that started out as one thing and changed into something different. I was originally going to design an Easter basket with eggs and bunnies. I have done that type of pattern so many times that I quickly got bored. About an hour into the pattern I deleted all the eggs and bunnies and went with a basket of roses.

I am showing the simulated project with a painted backer board. Painting the backer board red made sense but then I remembered that white roses are also sometimes used for Easter flower baskets so I also went with a white backer also. The paint is optional but I like to play around with different looks.

Just a reminder:

I often receive email asking me to send a pattern from a past post. The good news is that all the patterns from every post since 2007 are in my free online catalog. The patterns are searchable by keyword. Each pattern is also placed in at least one category. You can narrow your search by selecting a category.

The last twelve patterns posted are available on the loading page. This makes it easy to look for recent patterns.

There are thumbnails of every pattern. Just click the thumbnail you would like to have and it will open the download option.

This is also a good place to visit when you are looking for something to do. Just browse the categories until you find something interesting. Download, print and off to the shop. Never be bored again. :)
