Email from Vienna Austria
I received this email from Fritz this morning and wanted to share it with the rest of you. Fritz used one of my patterns to come up with something original that I think looks great. Thanks Fritz.

Hi Steve,
I am a newcomer to scroll sawing and I love your website videos, comments and free download patterns. I successfully finished your wooden paper knife, your candle holder and most recently your box with flower motives. On the latter, I actually dared to improve on your pattern by replacing the cut-out bit with an inlay version. I followed the tutorial in a book for scroll saw beginners: Cherry on top of walnut, saw table at an angle of 2 degrees (several angles tried on scrap of same thickness as project wood), very, very small holes, the smallest blade I had (No. 2-0) and counter-clockwise cuts. The result is not perfect, but not bad for a first time attempt. My wife loved the other items (mentioned above), but there were many more “ahhhs” and “ohhhhs” on this one. I also did your 3D leaves, but I found them too heavy to go on this delicate piece, so I am saving them for another project.
Thank you very much for your invaluable contribution towards my new hobby!
