T.J. Brown, Scroll Saw Artist.

If you need a little inspiration look no further than T. J. Brown. TJ produces some beautiful intarsia and fret work pieces that are in homes and businesses all over the world. He received his training at the Judy Gale Roberts studios in Tennessee so he learned from the very best and it shows.

TJ lives in Western Arkansas. His pieces are displayed and sold in three different locations in the area. Make sure you visit his website to see more and check out the addresses of places to see his work in person.

The following pictures are from TJ's body of work. All I can say is wow. Beautiful.

Minature 3D reindeer scroll saw demonstration.

Impress your family and friends. This is a tutorial video to show you how to freehand cut these cute little reindeer. You will learn how to cut them without a pattern. It only takes 5 simple cuts. With practice you can cut them in under a minute.

When a grand child or woodworking buddy comes to your shop to see what you do, cut this for them. If you cut it fast enough they will be shocked to see what pops out when you are finished.

Cut two and then freehand the sled that is included in the book and you have a nice little gift for them to take with them from your shop.

If you sell at craft shows this is a sure fire way to draw people to your booth. Set up your saw and cut these out and give them to passers by.

I learned this technique from Rick Hutcheson. He can cut these out in under 20 seconds. I would not challenge him to a speed contest if I were you. He will take your money, put the chairs on the bus and turn out the lights before you can say Ho Ho Ho. Yep he's that fast. Trust me.

Some readers have ask me about the small size of the videos. If you click the small button second from the right bottom the video will go full screen for a better view.
