Retirement Fund Scroll Saw Pattern

Here is an update to a pattern I did last year. Becky, a member of the Community Forum wanted me to change the Depression Fund Pattern to Retirement Fund. Thanks for the good idea Becky. Hope your co-worker enjoys the project.

New Yankee Workshop

As I'm sure most of you know the New Yankee Workshop with Norm Abram ended after 21 seasons last year. It was a great show and it was instrumental in bringing thousands of us into the hobby of working with wood.

I know I was influenced by Norm to start woodworking. I will sure miss the show. For those of us who need our weekly fix of Norm there is hope. Although there will be no new episodes you can visit the New Yankee website and watch past episodes.

This weeks episode "Hearthside Settle - Program #205" is one of the early shows. I just wanted to post this so everyone could go check out Norm before his shop was full of multi-thousand dollar tools. The shop in this show actually looks like something the average woodworker could relate to. Check out the old table saw.

The new giveaway is underway. I wanted to announce the prize for this months drawing. I will be giving away at least one copy of "Creating Wooden Boxes on the Scroll Saw". It is a best of compilation from the pages of Scroll Saw Woodworking and Crafts magazine.

There will be at least one drawing on 5/31/2010. I hope to do two drawings so keep your ears open.

Remember that you can enter once a day. Simply visit the blog and look for the small scroll saw picture. Click the picture and an entry form will open. Fill out the form and you are entered.

Enter everyday for a better chance to win.
