The Patricia Clock Scroll Saw Pattern

My wife started a new phase in her life today. After 31 years of working for the same hospital she had to leave work on disability because of chronic neck and back trouble. I ask your prayers that this move helps her start on a course of recovery.

I wanted to dedicate a project to her today so I designed and completed this quartz movement clock that I am calling The Patricia. I started the design at about 10pm and I am just getting it finished at 6am. As I am writing this I can just see the sun starting to come up. I wanted to get it finished before she woke up and it looks like I just made it. I'm on vacation this week so the late hours are not a problem.

The pattern includes Woodcraft part numbers for the movement, hands and paper dial. Total cost for the parts was $10.23 plus the cost of the wood.

This months giveaway is under way. Make sure you visit the blog and search for the scroll saw. Click the saw and an entry form will open. Just fill in the form and you could be a winner.
