Clayton Boyer Designed Wooden Gear Clock.

The Spring 2011 issue of Scroll Saw Woodworking & Crafts magazine has an interesting pattern designed by Clayton Boyer. If you have not heard of Clayton before you are missing out on a master of the craft of wooden clocks. Clayton designs and sells full size patterns for wooden gear clocks. You can check out his site at this link. http://www.lisaboyer.com/Claytonsite/Claytonsite1.htm

The name of the wooden gear clock in this issue is Genesis. It was designed to be a first time clock builder project. I have cut one wooden gear clock in the past and they are a challenge and a lot of fun. I am thinking this might be a project I will build myself if I can find the time.

Check out the videos below and see if this looks like a project you would enjoy.
