I receive a lot of email from scrollers around the world. Once or twice a year I open the email and my jaw hits the ground. This was one of those times. The gentleman in the picture above is Martien Van Der Els from Someren in the Netherlands. He spent most of 2010 creating this beautiful Milan Cathedral cutting.Martien was kind enough to send me a complete pictorial of several steps in the cutting and assembly. The pictures in this post are a few of the finished project.

The Cathedral is currently on display in the Someren Library. The project has also received much attention in several newspapers in the Netherlands.
