First impressions of the Excalibur EX-21 Scroll Saw.

I have had a couple days with my new Excalibur saw so I thought I would put together a video showing my first impressions. I don't intend this to be a review of the saw because I simply have not had enough time using the saw to have that kind of knowledge yet.

If you are considering a purchase of the Excalibur saw this might give you a few more facts to help with your decision.

One area that I do have a definite opinion on is where I purchased my saw. I bought it from Ray over a Seyco. I already knew the reputations Ray has in the business and that reputation is well founded in my opinion. I have a Woodcraft in my town and love their store. I could have picked up the saw there but I wanted to buy from Ray so I waited for it to be shipped. Ray's service is first rate and if you are considering a purchase of any of his products I'm convinced you can feel confident you will get first rate service. www.seyco.com If you have any questions contact Ray and he will be happy to assist you. Tell him Steve Good sent you and he will charge you 10% more for associating with such rift raft. Oh wait, maybe that's a bad idea. Just pretend you don't know me just to be safe. Now let's watch the videos.

Who is your favorite driver?

I needed some time working on my new Excalibur scroll saw tonight. The Scroll Bench has a video using my Key chain pattern maker program to create 3d patterns. I like what he has done so I decided to put several patterns together of your favorite Nascar drivers. These key chains are esay to make and all your Nascar fan friends will want one. The pattern book contains several of the top drivers.

I used the Excalibur to cut the samples and I have to say I'm impressed so far. I wanted to get a little more experience with the saw before I gave my first impressions in a video. I still plan to put together a video this weekend showing the features and my opinion of the saw.

If you are not familiar with how to cut these 3D key chains just watch the video below and you will have all the info you need to get started.
