I glued the clock body up from two 3/4" thick boards to give it the thickness required. The top is 3/8" thick and I routed a small round over to the underside. For those of you who have pin end only saw you will be able to cut this project.

Snowflake Clock Scroll Saw Pattern.
This clock is simple and quick to make. There are a total of three interior cuts. It is 5 and 1/2 inches tall. Just big enough to sit on a desk without needing too much space. It requires a 2 3/4" clock insert with a 2 3/8" mounting hole. I cut the mounting hole with the scroll saw but if you have a 2 3/8" forstner bit that will speed things up even more. This project took less than 2 hours including finishing. The clock insert costs around $15 depending on where you buy it.

Candy Cane Scroll Saw Pattern.
This ornament will be a little
fragile to cut. Take your time. Make all the interior cuts first. Carefully glue to candy cane to the backer. This will give it strength. If you prefer the more fragile look just leave off the backer.

If you would like to order more custom ornament patterns I will take orders all the way up to Christmas if wanted. The ornament patterns come in two styles. One with the date and one without. The minimum order is 5 ornaments patterns for $5. Each additional pattern is $1 each.
Don't forget to order a pattern for your pets. Some people have been ordering a few first names for immediate family then the last name for friends as a special family ornament gift.
