Custom Compound Cut Name added to the online store.

-
These compound cut name ornaments are pretty easy to cut but everyone will wonder how you did it. I just added the custom pattern to my new online store. They are $5 for any custom First and Last name.

The pattern will be from 5 inches to 7 inches long depending on the length of the name. You will need a wood blank that is 1 inch X 1 inch X the length of the name. I like to use construction 2 X 4's cut down to dimension. They are very east to cut and as long as you avoid the knots they are plenty strong. If you want to make a key fob out of the name then you can print out the pattern at 75 percent and use a 3/4 inch X 3/4 inch wood blank. Fits easier in the pocket.

I will maximize the spacing of the names by stretching shorter names to match the longer names. For instance if the name is Max Hindenburg I will stretch out the Max as much as possible to match the Hindenburg. In extremes like this example I may have to leave some open space.

You can use these as small desk name signs. If you leave a little extra wood on one end you can add a eyelet screw and chain for a key fob. Just give them out as novelty gifts.

You can visit the online store on the blog or place an order for the link below.
