Autodesk 123d Make

I had a number of questions about the 3D head pattern. I wanted to show you the program that creates these 3D models. The program is from Autodesk. The name is 123d Make. It is a free program for the PC and Mac. You can download it from this web page .

The program takes 3D object files and turns them into different types of patterns that can be assembled from cardboard, wood or acrylic materials. It offers several options for sizing the pattern. You can select different methods like slices or tabs for the model.  It will even shows you an animated assembly.

Not every 3D object will make a nice scroll saw project and you may have to modify the files to get what you want.

Here are a couple of videos that show some of what can be done with 123D Make.
