Creating Portrait Patterns with Paint Shop Pro.

-
This is a video I posted back in 2009. I wanted to put it out there again because recently I have been getting lots of email from readers wanting to know how to make custom scroll saw portraits. The process is not too difficult if you know the steps. I used an older version of Paint Shop Pro for this video. The latest version is Paint Shop Pro X6. You can find it on Amazon for under $50. You can still buy the X5 version on Amazon for under $40. Beside being able to do portrait patterns it is a very nice photo editing program. I use it almost exclusively now for my photo editing.

The steps for this technique are similar in other photo editing software. It takes a little time to get the portraits ready for the scroll saw but with some practice they will look great.

Important note about the giveaway from yesterdays post. You can enter one time per day. I forgot to mention that in the rules.
