Small Floral Mantle Clock Scroll Saw Pattern.

Don't forget that you can enter the contest once per day. Details below.

This is a small floral mantle clock. The length if the base is 9.25 inches. It's about 3.5 inches tall. The clock insert is a 2 3/4" needing a 2 3/8" hole. I purchased my insert from woodcraft.com. Click the link to go directly to the insert page. If you purchase a different insert make sure you check the mounting hole diameter. Some 2 3/4" insert use a 2 1/2" hole. Just modify the pattern as required.

If you make lot's of clocks with these types of clock inserts you can make the job much easier by buying forstner bits. You will need a different size forster bit for each size clock insert mounting hole you have. For this clock insert I have a 2 3/8" bit. They are not cheap. I think I paid around $25 for this one bit. The smaller the diameter bit the cheaper they are.  You can use a forstner bit with a hand drill but it's not easy. You will have better success if you have a drill press.
