I'm about to admit to something I may not live down for a while. My wife is a reality TV show watcher. One of the shows she watches is Dance Moms. I have to admit that I watch it with her. It might be trash TV but one thing is for sure dance studios are all over the U.S.
I feel like I design too much from a male perspective. I thought I would try to put out a pattern that your young daughters and granddaughters might like.
I put the two hanging hoops on the pattern for a ribbon. If you like it better as a plate pattern just cut the hoops away.
