Gwinnett Woodworkers Host Ron Brown. "How to sell your crafts."

I have been a fan of Ron Brown for several years. I have a couple of his DVD's and they are excellent. The Gwinnett Woodworkers had Ron come in and give a talk about selling crafts. Ron has worked the circult for years and knows his stuff. His approach to selling crafts in this video is from the idea of making extra cash. He is not trying to say you can make thousands of dollars a month but rather how to make that car payment, buy more tools for the shop or put some spending money in your pocket.

Ron basically explains how to set goals and what it takes to achieve  those goals by picking your product based on how much you can make per hour worked. If you have any desire to sell your scroll saw projects I think you will find some good tips in this video.

You can also see more of Ron's work at www.ronbrownsbest.com/.  He primarily does lathe work now. He used to sell some scroll saw related DVD's but I'm not sure they are still available.

2014 NCAA Football Champions. Ohio State Buckeyes.

Congratulations to the Ohio State Buckeyes for winning the 2014 National Championship. What a season they had. In what has to be considered one of the most amazing stories in NCAA football history. Cardale Jones, the early season 3rd string QB lead his team all the way. With Jones throwing and Elliott running the ball they were unstoppable. The offensive line for Ohio St was also tough. They opened holes for Elliott all night long.

Oregon also deserves a lot of respect for the season they had. Heisman Trophy winner Marcus Mariota had a magical season at QB for the Ducks. It's not that Mariota had a bad game. He played well he just ran into a better team in the championship.

This was the first year for the NCAA football four team playoff system. Ohio St would not have had the opportunity to show how much they improved during the season under the old system. I like the new system just for that reason. I hope the NCAA will consider going to an eight team playoff in the future. I think that will just make it all the more exciting.
