"I'm All In" Scroll Saw Pattern.

This pattern should make the Texas Hold-Em fans happy. It will make a nice plaque for the game room.

I pulled an all-niter setting up my new computer workstation. This system is built with video editing in mind. I have not completed many videos in the last couple years. The old Dell was just painfully slow when it came to rendering video. It made the process just too time consuming so I got lazy and did not do many videos.

I had this machine custom built and I am very pleased with the results. For the geeks out there here are some of the specs. i7-4790k Processor running at 3.5 GHz. 16 Gigs of DDR3 memory. GeForce GTX 960 video card with 2Gigs of memory. 500 Gig SSD boot drive, 1Tb storage HD and a 4TB data drive for backup galore. Dual 24" monitors. All powered by an eVGA 750w 80+Bronze power supply for room to upgrade.

The Guys over at KyTrade Computer Services put this rig together for me.  My builders name was Hector. He made the process fun and easy. The service I got was outstanding. I had built this system in my head many times over so I had the specs ready when I walked in the door.  Hector listened to what I wanted then made several suggestions that made the build come together perfectly. If you are in the Central Kentucky area and need computer services I can highly recommend these guys.

Thanks Hector and all the folks at KyTrade Computer Systems.

Now I don't have any excuses for not putting out more videos. Except for my normal excuse of being lazy.

March, 14th is PI Day.

Pi Day is celebrated on March 14th (3/14) around the world. Pi (Greek letter “π”) is the symbol used in mathematics to represent a constant — the ratio of the circumference of a circle to its diameter — which is approximately 3.14159.
Pi has been calculated to over one trillion digits beyond its decimal point. As an irrational and transcendental number, it will continue infinitely without repetition or pattern. While only a handful of digits are needed for typical calculations, Pi’s infinite nature makes it a fun challenge to memorize, and to computationally calculate more and more digits.

Here is PI to 2000 digits just in case you want something to memorize tonight.
The Guinness official record for memorizing PI is 67,890 digits by Lu Chao.

I had a pipe freeze and break inside a wall in my house this weekend. We had quite a bit of damage. I am also upgrading my computer that I use to write the blog. With both of these things going on right now I may have to take a couple day break from blogging. I'll be back as soon as I get the mess cleaned up.
