Center Finder Line for Re-Sawing on a Band Saw

As scrollers we often need thin wood boards. The most economical way to get thin boards is make your own. One tool we need to do this is a band saw. When we cut a board to make it thinner this is called re-sawing. There are different techniques to re-sawing on a band saw. I simply free hand cut the board on a center line. This simple Jig in today's pattern will automatically center the line on the edge of the board. This is quicker and easier than using a ruler and straight edge.
