Microchip Clock by James Burroughs.

I started heavily using and working with technology in the late 70's. I have lost track of the number of computers I have purchased. I study technology and I work with technology. In other words I am a complete geek.

James Burrouhgs made my day earlier this week when he sent me a computer mock up of a computer microchip clock. I knew instantly that I would make one and sit it on my desk. There was other good news in his email to me. He was offering to put together plans and share them with my readers. I didn't have to think twice and ask if he would do just that.

Here is the rest of the story. James has not yet purchased his scroll saw. He just happened to see the tech paper dial I made a few months ago. He had the idea of incorporating it into a microchip clock. Without having any scrolling experience he has put together a nice set of plans for the clock.

James normally works in the metric system and he took the time to convert the pattern over to inches. I have looked over the pattern and I don't see any mistakes but I have not built this clock yet. He has added enough detail that I think it can be easily worked out even if something is wrong.

Thanks James. I look forward to building this clock myself and I know there are other geeks like me who will enjoy the time you put into this design.
