Simple Desk Pen Holder Scroll Saw Pattern.

I call this type of project "scrap box". If you have been into woodworking very long you will probably have a scrap box full of small cut offs. Every once in a while it's nice to be able to use those cut offs for something. These small initial pen holders are perfect scrap box projects. They require very small pieces of wood. They are easy to cut and finish. If you work the arts and crafts shows you can sell these as one of your lower priced products.

If you are into turning pen and pencil sets on the lathe these could be nice up sells along with your pen. You could enlarge the box just a little and drill two holes for a pen and pencil set.
