Polish Those Coins.

I am still playing with coins. I was not satisfied with the finish of the circulated coins so I researched ways to get a high gloss finish. In the video below I show the technique I used to get the look I wanted. They don't look like un-circulated coins but they look a lot better than a tarnished coin.

The project is just a simple display for one of my wife's Bicentennial Dollars. She likes the coins because that's the year she graduated from High School.

You don't need the 6PC coin forstner bit set for this project. The Bicentennial dollar just happens to be 1.5 inches in diameter so we can just use a standard 1.5" forstner bit.

The video is best viewed in HD and full screen.
