How to stay inspired and be creative. Colour in your Life.

I received an email a couple days ago that made me think. The reader wanted to know how I stay motivated to keep designing new patterns and doing posts on my blog? I have been doing several posts a week for a little over eight years. In that time I have designed thousands of patterns, edited hundreds of videos and written more words than I probably should. I have only had a few days of burn out. Most of the time I'm eager to get to my computer at night and do some work.

After some thought I realized there are some things that I do that keep me inspired to work. One of those tricks is to watch other artists from different genres of art. Youtube is a great place to see other artists. You can find just about every genre you can imagine. In today's post I want to introduce you to one of the many incredible shows on Youtube that I never miss.

I have watched "Colour in your Life" hosted by Graeme Stevenson for nearly three years. Graeme is an artist who travels Australia and New Zealand showing some of the finest artist those countries have. I always feel inspired to work after watching these shows. Each episode is around 30 minutes.

I have embedded just one of his shows here. You can visit Graeme's Youtube channel and watch all of the wonderful shows. If you enjoy art then do yourself a favor and give this Youtube channel a look.
