A day in the pumpkin patch.

It was an absolutely beautiful day here in Lexington Ky. My wife, daughter, daughter's fiancee and myself went to the Boyd Orchard pumpkin patch. It was full of folks looking for pumpkins and enjoying the day. My daughter picked a couple pumpkins. My wife bought some of her favorite apple butter and I just enjoyed walk.

On the way home we stopped by a Fall Festival. Unfortunately it was just about to shut down but we had a few minutes to look around. I did run into one excellent scroll saw artist. He had several beautiful Christmas cuttings. His name was Bob. We spoke for a few minutes. His work was very professionally done and nicely displayed. He was also charging appropriately for his work. So many times you see scroll saw artist undercharging for their work. Bob was proud of his work and charged a fair for his buyers and himself. I hope Bob had a good day.
