Cats Wall Hanging Scroll Saw Pattern.

Each piece of the group of four cat wall hangings are seven inches wide. You can hang them as a group or individually.

I get questions asking how to hang wooden pieces on the wall. I like to use a keyhole bit and a router to cut a recess in the back of projects. They can be used to cut single keyhole slots, double slots and end to end slots. They are not the easiest bits to use but the results are great. I highly recommend that you add one to your tool box.

They can be used freehand with a router but the results will be shaky. If you have a router table it's easy to set up a jig to make perfect cuts. I have been thinking about designing a jig to use the keyhole bit with a hand held trim router. I think that will be a first of the year project. Any suggestions?

If you use the slot in the first picture it needs to be centered. If the projects is evenly weighted this works okay. The second slot is also centered but it gives to the chance to balance the project. The third option is the easiest to cut and balance but you see the slot on the edges so it only works with some projects.
