DIY Corner Clamps.

This is not exactly a scroll saw project but they are very handy to have in a workshop. These are corner clamps for assembling case work. It can be butt joints or miter-joints. They give you an accurate 90 degree corner before you glue and screw the corner together. You install one clamp at the top and one at the bottom. To put the bottom clamp in place you just need to move the corner off the workbench and clamp.

The right angle needs to be an accurate 90 degrees. Use the factory cut corner if it measures 90 degrees. If it is not a good measurement then cut this with a well adjusted table saw. The rest of the cuts can be made on your scroll saw.

These are large clamps but you can reduce the pattern for smaller clamping needs.

Important Contest Information.
I'm going to continue to do the quick giveaways but I'm going to change the way they work to make them more fair. My intent for the contest is to drive more traffic to my blog. I appreciate all my subscribers to the email newsletter but I also need traffic on the blog to keep it successful. If you only saw the contest information from the newsletter it was generally too late to have a chance to win.

In the future the contests will only be posted on the blog. The newsletter will only point out that there is a contest going on. You will have to visit the blog to answer the question and have a chance to win.

The winner will not be select from the first to get the question correct. It will be a random drawing from those who answer it correctly.

Thanks for all the feedback from everyone. I think this will be much more fair and still help me drive traffic to my blog. It's critical that I have that traffic to keep the blog healthy and alive.
