Happy Mother's Day.

-
"Home is where your mom is." My wife and I have lived in another city from our parents for 37 years. When we talk about making the trip to see them we say "Let's go home". As long as you have your mother on this earth her home will feel like your home.

I want to wish all the mothers a very Happy Mother's Day.

Today's pattern is in honor of all the mothers. It's pretty larger but it's going to get fragile so you will have to take care until you get it mounted on to the backer board. It's in three layers but you could easily leave out the middle layer. You could also cut the middle layer and cut away the ornaments. Just cut away the flowers, birds, butterfly, etc. That will make it much more stable and easier to cut.
I included dashed lines on the middle layer of the pattern to make it easier to cut away the ornaments if that's what you decide.

Hey guys a friend of mine does a weekly YouTube live stream. The name is "Let's Talk Shop with Russ." He has a panel of woodworkers each week with different topics. Last night his topic was new woodworkers on YouTube. Each panelist shows a couple of YouTube woodworkers who have a small number of subscribers but are worth the time to watch. Russ was nice enough to invite me back to the show. If you have a little time please take time to visit his channel. The video below was last nights show. If you have ever thought about starting a YouTube channel you will find some useful information in this video.
