O Canada! Scroll Saw Pattern.

O Canada!
Our home and native land!
True patriot love in all thy sons command.

With glowing hearts we see thee rise,
The True North strong and free!

From far and wide,
O Canada, we stand on guard for thee.

God keep our land glorious and free!
O Canada, we stand on guard for thee.
O Canada, we stand on guard for thee.

O Canada! Terrrre de nos aieux,
Ton front est ceint de fleurons glorieux!

Car ton bras sait porter l'epee,
Il sait porter la croix!

Ton histoire est une epopee
Des plus brillants exploits.

Et ta valeur, de foi trempee,
Protegera nos foyers et nos droits.

Protegera nos foyers et nos droits.

I get so many wonderful emails from my readers in Canada and I wanted to show my appreciation with a pattern. It's very difficult to design patterns when you don't have some kind of intimate knowledge for the subject. Designing patterns for countries other than my own can get tricky. It's easy to apply U.S. norms and customs to a design and not understand they may differ in other places. That's why I very rarely do them.

I have readers in most countries around the world and I appreciate all of you. Google translate actually makes it possible for me to roughly communicate through email with readers who speak languages other than English. I am also amazed by how many of you are bilingual. I get email from readers whose second language is English and they write it better than I do. I wish I had listened to my high school English teacher, Mrs. Lewis. She tried so hard to get us to understand how important communication skills are. It's one of my biggest regrets.

I own the Grr-Ripper 3D pushblock by Microjig. I had no idea how much I would come to value it when I bought it. In my opinion it is a must have safety feature for a table saw. It not only keeps your hand away from the blade it gives you more control over the wood than a standard push stick.
