Baseball Mini Clock Scroll Saw Pattern.

This pattern requires a 1 7/16" mini clock insert.

Thursday was the last day of summer here in the U.S. For those of you who only get in your workshops during the Fall and Winter months welcome back. Later this week we are looking at lows in the 40's here in Kentucky. I love summer but it is so much easier to heat the shop than it is to cool it. I have a portable AC unit in the shop and it cost a fortune to run it non-stop. I can keep the shop at 70 degrees if I never let it stop running on high. During even the coldest nights my kerosene heater will run me out of the shop on high. Sad to see summer go but ready for fall to arrive.

I am trying to get caught back up on email but I am over 200 behind. I will open and read them all but depending on the question/comment I may or may not be able to respond. Thanks for your understanding.

I have a special treat for you today. Sterling Davis a friend and YouTube content creator just published a cool video showing the making of this beautiful Cheetah on a natural edge slab.

If you want to see a good use of spiral blades check out the video. This is how i would recommend you cut my pattern of the large giraffe from yesterday. The size of this pattern would make it difficult to impossible with flat blades. Make sure you give a thumbs up and subscribe to his channel on YouTube. Leave him a comment while you are there.

Craftsman 12004 6 Gallon 3 Peak HP Wet/Dry Vac

Every shop needs a vacuum. This one is reasonably priced and large enough for most jobs.

  • Powerful 3 peak HP motor makes very short work of jobs
  • Durable 6 Gallon polypropylene collection tank
  • Quickly converts to a blower for yard, patio or shop
  • Large dust sealed on/off switch for easy control and top carry handle for balance
  • Over 17 Foot Cleaning Reach (7 ft. x 1-7/8-Inch Secure Fit Hose, 10 ft. Cord and Two Extension Wands)

Large Giraffe Scroll Saw Pattern.

This is one of the largest patterns I have ever offered here on the blog. The board is 10.5 inches wide and over 16 inches tall. I would recommend using Baltic Birch plywood for stability. This is also a pattern that works best with spiral blades.

After you cut this project back it with the color of your choice.
