Caught a thief.

I apologize for this post but I'm so mad I just had to vent and maybe get lucky and get some information.

I was watching my security camera and saw this guy coming up my sidewalk. I figured he was selling something. I was wrong he was stealing packages off my porch. He made two trips and I had time to meet him at the door. I got my packages back. I also had a pretty good video to show the police.(video below)

On the outside chance that anyone might recognize him here in Lexington Kentucky please give me a shout. I got his license number but the police did not get a hit when they ran it. I was so mad I may have got it wrong.

I know I should not have followed him but was too mad to think clearly.

A Visit from St. Nicholas Scroll Saw Pattern.

http://www.stevedgood.com/estore/estore.html
This Christmas Plaque is 10" X 8". Yesterdays Serenity Prayer plaque received lots of attention. I had several emails including one with a finished project within a few hours. I thought I would do a similar plaque with a Christmas theme. Hope you like this one also.

I received an email from Mazen Hawarnew with a picture of the finished Serenity Prayer plaque from yesterday's patterns. I thought I would show you the picture. Mazen made some changes to the base and backer board that look wonderful. Check out how he stacked 1/8" thick boards to make the layered base. I think that looks great. He also enlarged the backer board to frame the plaque. Both changes added a lot to the original pattern.

I have not heard back from Mazen about the details of the project but I think the wood is plywood. I'm also pretty sure it was laser cut. I have many laser and CNC users who subscribe to the blog. Many of my patterns work fine on that equipment.

Thanks for sharing the project Mazen.
