Guardian Angel Poem Scroll Saw Pattern.

http://www.stevedgood.com/estore/estore.html
Large Guardian Angel. You can stand her on the base or hang her on the wall. This might be cute over a small child's bed. An nice option would be to enlarge the pattern and hang it over the head board of the bed. I specified 3/4" thick in the plans but if you do a wall hanging you might consider 1/4" thick Baltic Birch plywood to reduce the weight.

Has the Delta 40-694 become the new choice as an entry level saw? I receive email all the time asking for an inexpensive saw to get started in the hobby. Usually the budget is under $300. In the past I have recommended the Porter Cable machine sold at Lowes. It is priced under $200 and will get the job done but the ease of use is far below the Delta 40-694. You can now get the Delta for $339 on Amazon. That is a little over what I consider and entry level price but maybe it's worth the few extra dollars.

I would like to hear from the Delta 40-694 owners out there. Has this machine performed to your expectations? What are the things you like and do not like about the machine?

Email me your opinions.
