Modern Minimalist Style Scroll Saw Bowl.

This project has no interior cuts. It is made from 24-5" X 3" Baltic birch plywood blanks. The pieces should be stack cut so you make both sides of the bowl in one cut. It can be used as a small candy bowl or for other small items like change. It is not food safe or waterproof.

You need to be careful with the glue up. It's difficult to get rid of any squeeze out from on the inside.

I used my disk sander to square up the sides and top after the glue set up. I finished the piece with spray lacquer. 

This is one of those projects that won't be every ones cup of tea. I like the modern minimalist style and I like the stripes created by the plywood.  

This project is also unusual because it takes much more time to prepare the blanks than to cut the patterns. The pieces can be cut in just a few minutes once the blanks are ready.
