Information: A tale of woe!

I use CorelDraw to design all my patterns. I have used it for years and it's actually a pretty reliable program. I have customized several of the shortcuts and the workspace considerably. Today it decided to crash. It killed it's self to the point I had to uninstall and reinstall.

Normally not a big problem but in this case it was. All those custom shortcuts and workspace changes are taking a few hours to put back the way I had them. I have a Genovation Keypad that I have all my main key strokes mapped to it. This lets me select tools much quicker. I love this keypad and my muscle memory is tuned to use it. Now I have to set up all my changed shortcuts to match this keypad again. Arrrr!

When I had to design today's pattern without all my custom setting it felt like I was using a different program. Normally I could have just kept the settings when I uninstalled the program but in this case that did not work so I had to delete them and start over.

The Genovation keypad is fully programmable and a pleasure to use. I thought some of you may be interested in this thing so this is my Amazon affiliate link if you want to check it out. If you are a heavy computer user this can save you lot's of time.

There are two versions. One has 24 keys and the other has 48 keys. Here is a video review from YouTube of the 48 key version. If I had known how much I love this thing I would have purchased the larger one. I bought the 24 key version.
