An Old Bear Front Porch Sign.

Front porch sign.

_______________

Information:

I often receive email about what font's I use in a pattern. I have hundreds of fonts but of course I have my favorites for patterns. I am happy to share the name of a font but understand that I almost always modify the font in the pattern. Very seldom will you be able to use the font the same way unless you also modify it.

Sometimes I just stretch a font and other times I turn a regular font into a stencil font. In today's pattern I have to modify all of the letter i. The dot is too close to the stem so I have to move it up. Other times I completely change the font to the point that it is unrecognizable from the original.

This image is the same font with a few different ways I may modify it for a pattern. I get ask all the time to include the name of the font with the pattern. This is one of the reason I don't do that. I get most of my font's from www.dafont.com. If you are looking for font's that's a good place to start. Hope this helps a little.
