The Acorn and the Worm Scroll Saw Pattern.

The weather was really nice here today. I was in the back yard playing with the dogs and just enjoying watching them chase each other. We don't have squirrels in our neighborhood but we do have chipmunks. I saw a bird digging for worms and a chipmunk running along the fence. It made me think of this pattern. I substituted the squirrel for the chipmunk(artistic license) and I like it. I call the the acorn and the worm.

The silhouette sits 3/4" away from the backer board using stand-offs. I like the shadow effect that gives. It also make it kind of fragile. If you want it less likely to break then just glue the silhouette to the backer board.
