Tug Boat Scroll Saw Pattern. (Not for small children. Choking hazard.)

http://www.stevedgood.com/estore/estore.html
This little tug boat is not for children under 35. Small parts present a choking hazard. She does float but she needs a little ballast in the stern to set level in the water. If you do decide to use the boat in water make sure you use a water proof glue or she will end up like the skipper and Gilligan.
I got the axle pegs from www.bearwood.comhttps://www.bearwood.com/product5.html. I used the .156 tenon size. You can just substitute 1/8" dowel if that's all you have. Just cut the top of the dowel at an angle to make it look like a smoke stack.

Bear Woods Sponsored Giveaway:

Six Dozen Free Pegas Scroll Saw Blades to the winners.

I want to thank Bear Woods for sponsoring another giveaway. This time they will give three random winners their choice of six dozen Pegas scroll saw blades. You can enter once per day. The contest ends 9/30/2017.

Pegas scroll saw blades are manufactured in Switzerland to the highest possible standards. They are sharp and they last longer that lesser quality blades. If you want to do a cheap upgrade to your scroll saw then buy high quality blades. You will be surprised how much different high quality blades are. The good news is that they don't really cost any more than poor quality blades.

IMPORTANT: When you click the button to enter the contest, the Bear Woods site will open. Feel free to look around and bookmark the page for later visits. You have to close that page or click the previous tab to go back to the entry page to complete the entry.

Keep Florida in your prayers:

As the hurricane heads for southern Florida I am thinking about all my friends down there. We have many scroll saw buddies in the state. Russ Claridy, my original Community Forum moderator is near the Tampa area. I spoke with him a couple days ago and he was trying to decide what to do. Be safe folks. Get out if you can. Hope this thing fizzles out fast.
