In Memory of Carter Johnson: Master Puzzle Maker
I know many of you will recognize the name Carter Johnson. Mr. Johnson was well known in the scrolling community for his generosity of teaching and gifting wooden jigsaw puzzles. Unfortunately I was just notified that Carter has passed away. I don't have any further details but I'll try to find out more tomorrow. I cannot find a picture of Carter. The picture above was a gift to me from Carter several years ago. This was one of his famous postage stamp puzzles.
I never had the opportunity to meet Carter in person but we conversed by email many times. I have posted articles about his outstanding puzzles a couple of times. You can watch the video below to see just how talented he was.
Carter Johnson was a true gentleman and inspiration to many of us in the community. He will be missed by the many people he touched with his kindness.. Rest in peace Carter.
