I received this picture in my email today. Pete D. and his wife teamed up to make my small Manger Box Pattern. I like the way Pete's wife used the paint like a stain. I suspect it was a water based paint and thinned down to a translucent color.
I normally don't like to paint wood but in this case I think it worked very nicely. I though I would share so maybe it could give others ideas for using paint.
