Our dog's name is Holly. Holly makes it clear everyday that she is the pack leader of the family. She has informed us that her job is to let us know when the mailman is at the mail box.
While she performs that all critical task she expects us to buy dog cookies, take her for walks, play fetch at least twice a day, let her sleep in the bed, provide quality meals and clean up poop.
Every time I complain about the inequity she jumps in my lap, licks me in the face and looks all cute. I'm pretty sure they learn that technique at dogie school. To my surprise it works every time. There are times when being a dog looks pretty good.
