Love You Valentine Scroll Saw Pattern. Hot Glue Gun Holder Pattern.

Valentines Day is a month away. Time to start thinking about a gift for your sweetheart.

Hot Glue Gun Holder with Drip Tray and Glue Stick Holder:

I purchased this Arrow Hot Glue Gun on Amazon. It comes with a kick stand but I wanted a holder with a drip tray and glue stick holder. Hot glue is kind of like the Swiss Army Knife of glue. It comes in handy for temporary and permanent applications.
I used some scrap 3/4" pine and cut the base 11" X 4.5". The other three pieces are in the pattern book that you can download at this link . This holder specifically fits the Arrow TR400. You may need to adjust the sizes of the holder if you use a different hot glue gun. The Arrow TR400 is under $10 and works well so it's a good choice.

I used a 1/2" forstner bit to drill the holes to store the glue sticks. You will need the forstner bit and a drill press to make this part.
The 4" ceramic tiles can be purchased at Home Depot. If you can't find them for sale individually you can substitute other items for the drip tray. I jar lid also works well. It just needs to be something you can easily scrape the excess glue off of.
I included a set of brackets in the pattern that you can use to hold the glue sticks. Just glue the brackets to the back of Part C in the pattern.
