I have been slowly working on a few popular dog breed patterns. I am trying to keep them easy to cut with just enough detail but not too much. I have five designed and will be doing a few more. I try to release them over the next few weeks as they are complete.

These will be large enough that you can use 3/4" thick wood if that's what you have available. The German Shepherd in this pattern is eight inches tall. I'll probably release the Labrador Retriever next.

If you have a favorite breed feel free to leave me an email. I probably won't have time to reply to the emails but I will add the breeds to a list and look for reference photos to draw from.

Just for information. I am drawing the dogs on my iPad Pro 10.5 with the Apple pencil. With the right software on the iPad Pro and the Apple pencil it makes a fantastic work surface. I still import the final drawing into CorelDraw on the PC for completion and exporting to PDF.

I am using an app named Procreate on the iPad Pro to do the drawing. It is a bitmap graphics program so I have to convert the drawing to vectors in CorelDraw but that's no problem.

Drawing on the screen with the Apple pencil is such a perfect way to draw. It is so much easier than freehand drawing with the mouse on a Windows PC, I love the process.

I have a nice graphics tablet on my PC but it is still not as nice as drawing directly on the screen with the Apple pencil.
