I was here in my hotel room today waiting for the meeting tonight and I drew a rose on my iPad. It came out okay so I completed a pattern using it. It's a two layer pattern using contrasting woods.
I have finished up my visit to Atlanta and will be heading home tomorrow. When I get back I will try to catch up on email and get the blog caught back up. I still need to get the $3 PDF catalog updated and a few other chores.
I had the honor to speak at the Gwinnett Woodworkers Association scroll saw meeting tonight. I had a great time and I hope the presentation was enjoyable to those who attended.
The presentation theme was "Cutting anything except wood". The scroll saw has the potential to cut materials that are not commonly associated with it. During the presentation I demonstrated cuttng paper, high density foam, vinyl transfer, leather and more.
I will be bringing all these projects to the blog over the next few weeks.
