Oreo Cookie Scroll Saw Pattern.

Everybody loves cookies. The Oreo is probably the most beloved cookie in the world. It is sold in over 100 countries. It was first introduced in the United States in 1912. The oreo has since become the best selling cookie of all time.

This cookie is six inches in diameter. It is cut from walnut for the cookie and soft maple for the creme filling. I stack cut the two cookie halves to save time. It still took me almost two and a half hours to cut. There are over 150 interior cuts. The wood is only 1/4" thick so it's easy to stack cut.

Why make a wooden Oreo cookie? Why not. It's fun to look at and it makes people smile. That's good enough for me.

Important Information for buyers of my Portrait Pattern DVD:

If you have purchased my Portrait Pattern Tutorial DVD you should read this.

The graphics program I use in the video has been updated. The update appears to have bugs. I suggest using the older version until the bugs get resolved. The user interface has also changed slightly and may cause some confusion.

Here are links to the version of GIMP used in the video. This may make it easier for you to follow the video. Just click the appropriate link to download the older version.

If you become confused with the new version you can uninstall the new version and install the older version.

Cool Photo of the Jesus Lives Pattern by Nick Chambers.
I received the photo above in my email today. It is from Nick Chambers. It is a photo of the Jesus Lives compound cut project that I posted the other day. The shadow is just way cool.

Thanks for sending this to me Nick. It made my day.
