The Pledge of Allegiance Flag Scroll Saw Pattern.

Want a challenge? This Pledge Flag is 15 inches wide and 9.25 inches tall. I recommend it be cut from a 3/4" thick panel. There are a significant number of interior cuts. It should keep you busy for a couple of days.

The following video is Red Skelton reciting and defining the words of the Pledge of Allegiance. Red was a masterful storyteller. This story will make you understand why, as an American, you place your hand over your heart as you recite the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag.

I use a black and white laser printer for printing patterns. Printing information:

This is the printer I use. I have been very pleased with it.

My patterns are distributed as multipage PDF files. There is a cover page, print instruction page, image page and then the actual pattern pages. Sometimes there will be assembly pages also.

About once a month I will get an email telling me that my patterns waste ink because of all the extra pages. You do not need to print any pages that you do not need. The second page of my patterns shows you how to only print the needed pages.

I recommend using Abobe Reader as your default PDF reader. It gives the most printing options. This includes the critical (Actual Size) option. That's another email I get a couple times a month. If the print dialog is not set to (Actual Size) the patterns will not print correctly.

Unfortunately, modern browsers have built-in PDF viewers and the print routines are not complete. I can't give you all the details in this post on how to make Acrobat Reader your default viewer but there are instructions online if you want to Google them.

I print a lot of patterns. I print every pattern I design. Often I will print it two or more times as I make changes to the pattern. It is necessary for me to see the print to make sure the pattern can be cut. I use a black and white laser printer because it is much more economical. I have a color inkjet printer for the rare times I need color. I can go nearly a year before I need to replace the toner cartridge.

I am still taking custom 3d Name pattern orders: $5 per name.

I am almost caught up on order for the custom 3D name patterns. If you want to order more I should be able to get them emailed out within a couple of days.

Many people are now ordering two first names on the blocks. Husband/Wife, Boyfriend/Girlfriend for example. A few people are ordering business names. These can be difficult to do because of the size limitations but I will do them if they are possible.
