Merry Christmas Word Art Free Scroll Saw Pattern.

This Merry Christmas Word Art pattern is 10" X 7". I am showing the project with the word art painted. That is optional but a nice water-based paint diluted down to a thin wash will give the project a vintage look.

Road Trip!

IMPORTANT: I am going to take a much-needed break from the blog this coming week.

Orders for Personalized Christmas ornaments will not be completed during the time I am gone.
If you want Personalized ornaments now I will try to complete any order that comes in this weekend.

Signature Coin orders will not be shipped while I am gone. Any orders that come in from now through the next week will be completed and shipped when I return.

I will have access to email and will be able to take care of any problems that may come up while I am gone. If you need something feel free to email me.

I do have a few posts in the can for while I am gone so you can get your pattern fix. :) There won't be as many posts as normal but I'll have a few ready before I leave.

A New Scroll Saw in Town.

In 2016 Jet introduced the Jet JWSS 22B scroll saw.(My video review) It featured a unique upper clamp assembly that both clamps and tensions with a single lever. Like all scroll saws it has it's pros and cons but has in general been a solid addition to the scroll saw market. It retailed for $880.

Last month Jet added to their product line with the Jet JWSS 18B. This is basically the little brother to the 22-inch model. The throat of the new machine is 18 inches. This new model retails for $700.
I have seen it priced online as low as $638.

Other than the throat spec I don't see any difference between the two machines. You lose four inches of cut capacity and save $180. An 18-inch throat will cut most scroll saw patterns.

I have received a few emails asking if I plan to review this unit. I doubt it. It is so similar to the JWSS 22B that a review would mostly repeat information from my review of the JWSS 22B.

It's always good news to have more choices. If you are looking to buy a new scroll saw or upgrade your current machine you now have another option.

Last year I sold this Large Nativity set pattern for $5. I received a few email asking for it again so here is the post from last year.

I am selling this large 14 figure lighted Nativity pattern for $5. It includes all the figures and the manger. All the figures are layered patterns that gives a nice 3d look. For scale, the Palm tree is a little over 9 inches tall. The Joseph figure is 5.5 inches tall.

This pattern will not go into the free online catalog. It will be available in my eStore. The link to the eStore is at the top of every post.

Here is the kicker. You can download the pattern right now without paying. Just click the download button below all the pictures. If you like the pattern just click the link on the front page of the pattern book to go to the payment page. You can also click the Paypal Donate button that is located in every post and just donate the $5. There is also a donate button on the blog.
