2018 Christmas Ornaments Free Scroll Saw Patterns.

Here are six simple 2018 Christmas Ornaments. Just for fun, you might consider cutting these out of alternative materials such as acrylic or even cardstock paper.

If you want to try cardstock you can sandwich several sheets between two layers of Baltic birch plywood. Wrap the stack with tape and apply the pattern to the top of the stack. I call this sandwich stack cutting. I use a #1 blade to get a nice clean cut. You can cut 20 or more ornaments at once this way.

DEWALT DW788 1.3 Amp 20-Inch Variable-Speed Scroll Saw

The DeWalt DW788 is currently $449 on Amazon. Amazon raises and lowers prices constantly. This is the best deal I have seen on this machine. It probably won't last long.

  • Double parallel-link arm design dramatically reduces vibration and noise for extremely accurate cuts
  • Exclusive tool-free blade clamps allow blade changes in seconds. Depth of Cut (inches): 2 in
  • On-off switch, electronic variable speed, flexible dust blower, and blade-tensioning lever all located on front upper arm
  • Arm design pivots from back of the saw to front, shortening the arm movement for smoother, quieter operation
  • Arm lifts so blade can be easily threaded through the material for inside cuts
