Do you need a quick gift? I completed this project in about two hours. Fill it with hard Christmas candy and you have a nice gift for someone. The front and back can be stack cut. Then both sides can be stack cut. Stack cutting saves lots of time on a project like this.
I lined it with construction paper but for a more permanent lining, you could use felt or cloth. Flocking is always an option also.
There really is no reason to have to add a finish to this little box but you can use any finish you like.
