Mr. Fixit Trophy Scroll Saw Pattern.

Here is a simple pattern for today. Mr. Fixit Trophy.

Vintage Scroll Saw Restoration: Wood by Wright.

I have been looking forward to this series for a while now. James Wright, of the Wood by Wright YouTube channel bought this vintage Empire scroll saw a while back with the intention of restoring it and letting us watch. James is a very talented woodworker using mostly hand tools. If you are not familiar with James check out his channel.

This Empire scroll saw is already in pretty decent shape so it will be interesting to see how far he takes the restoration. I will keep track of the videos and post the rest of the series when they come out.

Wine Bottle Holder Update:

I had a few people email me with a tip for cutting this project from yesterday. They all said that if you drill the hole for the bottle at the same angle as you cut the base that it will balance better. It will also make the bottle more horizontal which they said looks better also.

This is a 1.25" diameter hole that is best cut with a Forstner bit.

Sound like a good tip so I wanted to share their advice with everyone.

$12 per sheet of 12 coins plus $3.50 shipping
Inlay with a 1" Forstner Bit.
The perfect way to sign your work.
