The Virginia Cavaliers and the Texas Tech Red Raiders went to overtime before deciding the 2019 NCAA Basketball National Championship. Virginia took control of the game late in overtime to become national champs.

The Cavaliers finished 35-3 on the season and that is something to be proud of. They went into the tournament as a #1 seed and took care of every team they faced. The road was not easy by any stretch but they showed tenacious defense a better than advertised ability to score.
Congratulations also go to the Texas Tech Red Raiders. They came into the tournament as a #5 seed and played some of the best teams in the tournament to reach the finals.

You don't have to be an expert to help someone get started using a scroll saw. Most of the time they just need to know that it is not difficult. Once you give them the confidence that they can do it that will often light the spark.
When a friend or relative shows an interest in the projects you make ask them if they think it may be something they would like to try. I have found that most of the time they will say something like " I have no talent." or "I'm all thumbs.". I always respond with "It is like paint by numbers. You just have to follow the lines". Then I offer to show them my saw and see if the interest grows.
Never push. Most people will go away without wanting to get too far down the path. The key is to set the gears moving. They may need to give it some thought. If the interest grows they will eventually come back and start asking questions.
Most of the questions they ask will have more than one answer. There is seldom one right way to do something. It's fine to say "I don't know, but let's figure it out". It builds interest when they have a part in figuring out how to do something.
