Freedom Is Not Free Scroll Saw Pattern.

Freedom is not free. Freedom comes at a very high cost. On Monday we will pay respect to those who paid the ultimate price in the service of our country. It is also important to recognize the sacrifices and courage of the family these soldiers left behind. I want to stand up and thank all the veterans and active duty soldiers of the U.S. military.

It is estimated that 38 million people will be traveling over this Memorial Day weekend. AAA estimates that they will help 353,000 motorists with dead batteries, flat tires, and other road emergencies. Gas prices are up approximately 30 cents a gallon. Offsetting the gas costs, car rental is down 7 percent from last year and the average mid-range hotel rooms are down 3 percent.

Weather conditions could be bad in the middle of the country over the weekend. Tornadoes, hail, and flooding are all being forecast this weekend. Make sure you check conditions before you head out on your trip.

Stay safe and enjoy your long weekend.

I made another typo!

203 of you all kindly emailed me letting me know that I can't spell. Yesterday's pattern went out with the word "borrow" misspelled(barrow). I am claiming this one was a typo. It is a tough defense to put forth because the letters A and O are six inches apart on my keyboard. I'm going to stick with the typo theory until further proof of poor spelling comes forward.

Luckily I corrected the pattern early in the morning so most of you received the corrected version. About 200 downloads occurred before the correction so if you got the pattern early morning make sure you check for the error.

The corrected version is available in the catalog. You may have to clear your browser cache before you will get the correction.

The good news is that you guys were not crazy about the pattern so it only had a few hundred downloads. Wait, is that good news? Oh well. :) Sorry for the trouble.

Oculus Quest All-in-one VR Gaming Headset

Guys if this does not prove I am a massive geek then I don't what does. I bought the new virtual reality headset Oculus Quest. I already owned the Oculus Go headset but this one is a significant upgrade. I have always been a gamer and I have to tell you I love VR experiences.

The Oculus Quest is a stand-alone device. It does not need a computer for gameplay. It has enough sensing capabilities to give you full-room movement. The library of apps is limited compared to the Rift and the Go but it will grow quickly. Several of the currently available apps are very good.

The main feature of the Quest is not needing to be tethered to a PC. That also means that it is less powerful than the PC connected Rift but it is still very good at what it does.

I am a huge fan of Oculus products. The Quest is another fantastic effort and I am having a blast with it.

I know that many of you will have zero interest in this product but there are a few that are closet gamers who may find it interesting. Feel free to email me if you have questions.
