Toilet Paper Holder Scroll Saw Pattern.



Let me start out by saying that this is not my original idea. Actually, I am kind of happy it was not my idea. :)  A reader saw one of these on Pinterest and ask if I would draw up a pattern for it. They said please so I held my nose and went to work.

All the parts except the handle are 1/2" thick Baltic birch plywood. The handle is 1/4" thick BB ply. 
I used a 1 1/2" dowel for the center post. If you don't have access to a dowel that size you could cut a 1.5" X 1.5" square rod. Just round off the corners and it should work fine.

After you install the center post it should be about 1/8" higher than the toilet paper to prevent binding.

I used a 1 1/2" brass hinge. The screws that came with the hinge were for 3/4" thick wood so I had to change them out for shorter screws.

I painted the toilet white and handle grey.
